Position Summary: Responsible for product complaint investigation by dispositioning the material and applying applicable transactions via SAP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tests required parameters of electronic/mechanical devices using appropriate software.
- Uses SAP (ERP system) to access and transact production orders and non-conforming products
- Troubleshoot problems, looking at the component level of assemblies or circuit boards that do not conform to established specifications and determine the reason.
- Performs inspections and makes accept/reject decisions regarding each piece, part, or product.
- Disposition of items identified as scrap both physically and within SAP
- Ensure all SAP related transactions are complete to enable inventory accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and per work instructions is a must. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system. Excellent attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Intermediate computer skills, basic use of a computer, and email
- Associates degree in electronics, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a regulated environment
- 1+ year SAP or other ERP software experience
- Must be able to stand at workstation for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to eight hours or longer), bend, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to move material by pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds on a cart.
